Feature Availability: MaxAI Menu Generation is available through Max Builder. Older accounts may still see the legacy Menu Builder, but MaxAI menus are managed through Max Builder and the Template Library.
MaxAI helps merchants create and customize their store's navigation menu using AI. Instead of manually building the menu using the older Menu Builder, you can ask MaxAI to create or update your menu based on your store.
The MaxAI menu is saved as a template in the Template Library and is displayed on your storefront once it is published.
Why is it important?
MaxAI makes it easier to create and update your store navigation without manually configuring every menu item.
With MaxAI, you can:
Quickly create a navigation menu for your store

Ask MaxAI to add or update menu items
Review your menu before publishing
Manage your menu together with your MaxAI footer
Requirements
You must have access to Max Builder.
Your store should have its basic store information configured.
You must have available AI credits when requesting AI-generated changes.
You should review the menu before publishing.

Click Edit Menu and Footer.
Ask MaxAI to create or update your menu.
Review the generated menu.
Request additional changes if needed.
Publish your menu.
Steps to Generate or Update Your Menu Using MaxAI
1. Open Max Builder.
Go to your store's Max Builder.
2. Click Edit Menu and Footer.
Select Edit Menu and Footer to open the editor for your MaxAI menu and footer.
3. Ask MaxAI to create or update your menu.
In the MaxAI chat, tell Max what you want to add or change.
For example:
Create a navigation menu for my store with Home, Shop, About Us, Contact Us, and other relevant pages.
You can also ask MaxAI to modify an existing menu.
4. Review the generated menu.
Review the menu in the preview to make sure the navigation items and structure are correct.
5. Request additional changes.
If you want to make changes, ask MaxAI to update the menu.
You can request changes such as:
Adding a menu item
Removing a menu item
Renaming a menu item
Rearranging menu items
Adding relevant pages or links
6. Publish your menu.
Once you are satisfied with the menu, click Publish.
The published MaxAI menu will then be displayed on your storefront.
What About the Old Menu Builder?
Older Prosperna accounts may still see the Menu Builder in their dashboard.
The Menu Builder is part of the legacy menu system and is separate from the MaxAI menu.
The MaxAI menu does not use the old Menu Builder. Instead, MaxAI menus are managed through Max Builder and saved as templates in the Template Library.
Newer accounts may not have access to the old Menu Builder at all.
If you still see the Menu Builder
You can continue using Max Builder → Edit Menu and Footer to manage your MaxAI menu.
You do not need to make menu changes through the old Menu Builder when using MaxAI.
Where is the MaxAI Menu Saved?
When a MaxAI menu is generated and published, it is saved as a template in the Template Library.
The Template Library is also where you can view the published menu template.
The storefront displays the menu that is currently published.
Important Note for Existing Stores
If your store already has a menu created using the older system, the MaxAI menu is a separate template.
When switching to a MaxAI menu, review your existing navigation carefully and make sure any important custom links or menu items are included in the new menu.
You can ask MaxAI to add missing items before publishing.
Result
Your store will have a navigation menu managed through the MaxAI Menu and Footer editor.
You can continue asking MaxAI to make changes and publish the updated menu when ready.
