Feature Availability: Available for existing stores transitioning from the legacy Menu Builder and Footer to MaxAI.
If you have an older Prosperna store, you may still be using the legacy Menu Builder and an existing Footer. These are separate from the new MaxAI Menu and Footer.
To migrate to MaxAI, you first need to generate a MaxAI version of your Menu and Footer. Once generated and published, you can manage them through Max Builder.
Important: You cannot build a MaxAI Menu or Footer from scratch in Max Builder. You must generate it first using MaxAI.
Why is it important?
Migrating your Menu and Footer to MaxAI allows you to manage them using the new Max Builder experience.
With MaxAI, you can:
Generate a Menu and Footer using your store information
Ask MaxAI to make changes to your Menu and Footer
Preview your changes before publishing
Manage your Menu and Footer in one place
Requirements
You must have an existing Prosperna store.
You must have access to Max Builder.
Your store should have its basic store information configured.
You need available AI credits to generate your Menu or Footer.
Summary
To migrate your Menu:
Go to Template Library.
Generate your MaxAI Menu.
Alternatively, ask MaxAI in the chat to generate one for you.
Review and publish the generated Menu.
Go to Max Builder → Edit Menu and Footer to make future changes.
To migrate your Footer:
Go to Template Library.
Unpublish your existing Footer.
Click Generate with AI.
Click Generate and confirm the use of 1 AI credit.
Review and publish the new MaxAI Footer.
Go to Max Builder → Edit Menu and Footer to make future changes.
How to Migrate Your Menu to MaxAI
1. Go to Template Library
Open the Template Library from your Prosperna dashboard.
2. Generate your MaxAI Menu
If your store does not have a MaxAI Menu yet, generate one from the Template Library.
You can also ask MaxAI in the chat to generate a Menu for your store.
3. Review the generated Menu
Review the generated Menu and make sure your important pages, categories, and links are included.
Since the MaxAI Menu is generated separately from your existing Menu Builder setup, custom menu items or links may need to be added again.
4. Publish the Menu
Once you are satisfied with the generated Menu, publish it.
The published MaxAI Menu will be displayed on your storefront.
5. Edit your Menu in Max Builder
After the MaxAI Menu has been generated and published, go to:
Max Builder → Edit Menu and Footer
You can use MaxAI to make further changes to your Menu.
How to Convert Your Footer to MaxAI
Unlike the Menu, you must unpublish your existing Footer first before generating the MaxAI version.
1. Go to Template Library
Open the Template Library and locate your existing Footer.
2. Unpublish your existing Footer
Click the three dots (•••) on the Footer row and select Unpublish.
After unpublishing, the banner will show:
You have no published footer
3. Generate the MaxAI Footer
Click Generate with AI from the banner.
Then click Generate to confirm.
Generating the Footer uses 1 AI credit.
4. Publish the new Footer
A new Footer · Max AI will be generated and published.
The new MaxAI Footer will now be displayed on your storefront.
Important: Complete Steps 2 and 3 back-to-back so your site is not left without a published Footer.
5. Edit your Footer in Max Builder
To make changes to your new MaxAI Footer, go to:
Max Builder → Edit Menu and Footer
Important: Do not use the Edit option from the Template Library to edit the MaxAI Footer. There is currently a redirect issue with this option.
Result
Your existing store will have a MaxAI-generated Menu and Footer that can be managed through Max Builder.
Once the initial versions have been generated, you can use MaxAI to make further changes to your Menu and Footer.
