Why is it important? AI Credits are important because they give you controlled and flexible access to Prosperna’s AI-powered tools. It helps you save time, reduce manual work, and grow your business more efficiently—especially if you're running a small team or doing everything on your own.

What are AI Credits?

AI Credits are usage tokens that allow you to access Prosperna’s AI-powered features. Each time you use a tool that relies on artificial intelligence—such as generating product descriptions, enhancing images, or creating SEO content—AI Credits are deducted from your account.

The number of credits you receive depends on your subscription plan:

Free Plan: 25 credits/month
Plus Plan: 100 credits/month
Pro Plan: 200 credits/month
Premium Plan: 400 credits/month

You can check your balance, monitor usage, and request additional credits through your Prosperna dashboard:

AI Credits Expected System Behaviors

**Settings	AI Credits**
	When a new account is created, AI credits should be automatically allocated for Free plan users
	When downgrading to Free, AI credits should be reset to 25
	When upgrading/downgrading to Plus, credits should update to 100
	When upgrading/downgrading to Pro, credits should update to 200
	When upgrading/downgrading to Premium, credits should update to 400
**Inventory	Edit Product**
	Paid plan users can generate 2 selectable blocks of product descriptions, regenerate them, and credits are deducted
	Only Paid users can generate 2 blocks of SEO Meta Tags, with selection and regeneration; credits are deducted
	An Upgrade modal should appear when Free plan users try to generate content without sufficient credits
	A Top Up modal should appear when Paid plan users run out of AI credits (Note: Expected in Phase 2)
Top Navigation Bar	AI Credits button should display the current credit count, and a Top Up button should be visible for Paid users (Expected in Phase 2)
**Settings	AI Credits**
	AI generation is limited to a maximum of 10 attempts, after which a cooldown period is enforced with a notification

By aligning credit limits with subscription plans, users are empowered to scale their usage based on their needs and business growth. This system helps manage overall platform performance while giving users control over how and when they use AI tools. For the best experience, users are encouraged to monitor their credit usage and upgrade or top up as needed.
