Convenience fees are platform processing fees (in addition to any applicable subscription fees) and are designed to cover the costs associated with operating the platform. 

Why is it important? By understanding how convenience fees work, merchants can decide how they want convenience fees to be applied. By using the Convenience Fee Splitter feature, merchants can control who pays for convenience fees.


About Convenience Fees

What is a Convenience Fee?

A convenience fee is a charge added to the total transaction amount.  Applicable to all Digital Payment Types except Cash on Delivery and Store Pickup.

The following are the corresponding convenience fees based on your Prosperna subscription plan.

Plan Type Convenience Fees

Based on which plan you choose, these convenience fees will apply:
 
 1. Free             2% per transaction
 2. Plus            1.8% per transaction
 3. Pro              1.5% per transaction
 4. Premium     1% per transaction
 
What’s great about our convenience fees is that you can control if your customer or you pay for part or all of the convenience fees with our convenience fee splitter feature.

The benefit of our pricing plans are, we can keep our monthly subscription fees affordable and “grow together” with a reasonable convenience fee.

Sample Computation:

                      Total: P1,000

                      Plan Type: Free (2% convenience fee) 

                      Convenience Fee: P20
