An email notification in an ecommerce website is a brief electronic message sent to a customer's email address to provide updates or information related to their online shopping activities. These notifications can include order confirmations, shipping updates, delivery notifications, and promotional offers, enhancing the overall customer experience and keeping users informed about the status of their purchases.

Why is it important? The purpose of email notifications in an ecommerce website is to keep customers informed and engaged throughout their shopping journey.

How to Customize Email Notifications

1. Prosperna allows merchants to customize various aspects of their store's email notifications to align with their branding and communication preferences. Here’s an overview of the customization options available:

You can customize the following email notifications:

2. You can update the store logo, header bar color, and logo style.

Note: However, please note that these changes apply universally to all email notifications. It’s not possible to customize the logo or header style differently for each notification (e.g., a unique logo for "Thank You" and another for "Order Completion")

3. Merchants can choose to disable specific email notifications. This can be helpful if you don’t want to send certain notifications to customers.

Under Actions, click the three dots icon and select Disable to turn off the specific email notification.

4. Each email notification has a reset option. This allows you to revert any customized notification back to the default design and message as originally provided by Prosperna.
