Summary
Overview: Every new Prosperna store starts with a 14-day Premium Trial that includes Scale features. If you don't subscribe to a paid plan before it ends, your account is suspended: the dashboard is locked and your online store goes offline. Subscribe to any plan to unlock everything again.
Prerequisites:
- A credit card to subscribe with.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Keep track of your trial
- Look at the red banner at the top of your dashboard. Every day of your trial it counts down the days left and reminds you of the 50% offer, for example 5 days left in your FREE trial! Grab 50% off now. On the last day it reads 1 day left in your FREE trial! Grab 50% off now.
- Click Choose a Plan on the banner at any time to open Billing → My Plan.
- On My Plan, Current Plan shows TRIAL (n days left). The menu under your name shows Premium Trial.
Step 2: Subscribe before the trial ends (recommended)
- On My Plan, click Add to Order on Launch, Grow or Scale. While your trial is running, each plan card shows a 50% OFF / until trial ends ribbon and your half-price first payment.
- While your trial is still running, the Order Summary takes 50% off your first payment (Welcome discount (50% off your first payment)). The countdown next to it shows how long the offer lasts.
- Choose your card and click Pay Now. For the full steps, see How to Subscribe to a Plan.
Step 3: If your trial has already ended
- When the 14 days are up, the banner reads Your trial has ended. Choose a plan to keep using premium features.
- Shortly after, your account is suspended. Prosperna checks for ended trials once a day. From then on, the dashboard opens on a lock screen with the heading Your 14-day free trial has ended.
- On the lock screen, you can:
- Click Buy a Plan to open My Plan and subscribe.
- Click Talk to Sales to book a call with our team.
- Read the offers shown, such as Save 40% with Early Stage (Apply now). Offer details can change, so check your invoice after you pay or ask our team.
- Click Log out.
Step 4: Reactivate your store
- Click Buy a Plan.
- Click Payment Terms to choose a term, then click Add to Order on a plan.
- Choose your card and click Pay Now.
- When the payment goes through, the lock is removed and you can use the whole dashboard again.
Verify It Worked
Success criteria: after you pay, the lock screen no longer appears. Current Plan on My Plan shows your new plan (for example, SCALE PLAN), and your online store opens for customers again.
Troubleshooting
Common errors
- "Your last payment attempt failed. You can select a plan below and try again." on the lock screen: your payment didn't go through. Click Buy a Plan and try again, with a different card if needed.
- Every page sends me back to the lock screen: while your account is suspended, you can only open Billing (My Plan, Invoices and Payment Methods) and your Balances and Withdrawal Settings pages. Subscribe to unlock the rest.
- My customers see "THIS WEBSITE HAS BEEN TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED": your online store is offline because your account is suspended. It comes back once you subscribe.
- The Credits tab is missing from Billing: Credits is hidden while your account is suspended. It comes back after you subscribe.
- "Your payment for … plan is currently PENDING." banner: a plan payment is waiting to be completed. Click Verify Now to open the payment, or go to the Invoices tab.
Limitations & considerations
- The trial lasts 14 days from the day your store was created. The welcome discount ends when your trial ends.
- The trial doesn't continue on a Free plan. The Free plan has been retired, and a store still on Free sees the lock screen with The Free Plan has been retired.
- While your account is suspended, you can still open your Balances and Withdrawal Settings pages, so you can withdraw money your store has already earned.
- When the account is suspended, Prosperna also resets some paid-plan settings. Request for Quotation goes back to Add to Cart, additional fees are switched off, Menu View is switched off, and store locations are reduced to the Free-plan limit. After you subscribe, check these settings and turn back on the ones you need.
- The lock screen heading depends on why the account was suspended. You may see Your subscription has been cancelled. or Your subscription payment failed. instead. In every case, you reactivate the same way, by subscribing.
