Troubleshooting
Common errors
- "Store location is required before you can add a pickup address. Go to Locations Settings to set up the location of your store.": click Locations Settings and add a store location. See How to Add Your Store Location.
- I can't find the Business Pickup Address section: Store Pickup is switched off. On Settings → Shipping, switch it on, then open Manage again.
- The + Add Pickup Address button is missing: every active store location already has a Store Pickup address. Edit an existing address with the pencil icon, or add another store location.
- "Address nickname must be unique": another pickup address already uses that Save Address as name. Choose a different one.
- "Must be 35 characters or less" (US stores): shorten the Business Address, Apartment, suite, etc. or City.
- "Please select at least one payment option.": tick Cash on Pickup or another option, then click Save.
- "Shipping Description field is required.": the Shipping Description box is empty. Type a description or click Reset to Default.
- Customers see Store Pickup but no address: the store location they are ordering from has no Store Pickup address yet. Add one in Step 2.
Limitations & considerations
- Store Pickup has no Rates tab and never adds a shipping fee.
- A pickup address can't be deleted on this page. You can edit it.
- Customers see the pickup address of the store location they are ordering from.
- Store Pickup doesn't show at checkout when the cart has only digital products.
- When a customer schedules a pickup for Later, the earliest time they can pick is your Order Processing Time ahead of now, moved forward to your opening time. See How to Set Your Order Processing Time.
