How to Install Prosperna on Your Phone

Summary

Overview: Prosperna has no app in the App Store or Google Play. Instead, you can install the Prosperna dashboard as a web app, straight from your browser. It gets its own Prosperna icon on your home screen and opens in its own window, but it is the same dashboard you use in the browser, with the same login, store and data.

Prerequisites:

  • A store on the Launch, Grow, Scale or Premium Trial plan.
  • Your Prosperna login. See How to Log In to Prosperna.
  • A browser that supports installing web apps. Prosperna only shows its install card when your browser tells it that installing is possible.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to Prosperna in your phone's browser

  1. Open your phone's browser and go to Prosperna.
  2. Log in. See How to Log In to Prosperna.

Step 2: Find the install card in the sidebar

  1. On a phone, the sidebar is hidden. Tap the menu button (three lines) at the top of the screen to open it.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar. When your browser supports installing, you see a card with the Prosperna logo, Prosperna and Progressive Web App.
  3. Tap the card to open it. It lists what you get:
    • Full features — everything works, right from your phone & desktop
    • AI-powered — smart tools always within reach
    • No app store needed — installs straight to your home screen

The card doesn't appear on Max AI pages. If you don't see it, go to another page, for example Dashboard or Orders, and open the sidebar again.

Step 3: Install the app

  1. Tap Install.
  2. Your browser shows its own install message. Confirm it.
  3. The Prosperna icon is added to your home screen (or app list), and the install card disappears from the sidebar.

Step 4: Open Prosperna from your home screen

  1. Tap the Prosperna icon.
  2. Prosperna opens in its own window, without the browser's address bar. Log in if asked.

Step 5: Get updates

You don't need to update the app yourself. When Prosperna releases a new version, you see A new version of Prosperna is available.

  • Tap Refresh to load the new version now. The page reloads, so save any form you're working on first.
  • Tap Later to keep working. The message shows again the next time you open Prosperna, until you tap Refresh.

You also see this message when you use Prosperna in a normal browser tab.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • A Prosperna icon is on your phone's home screen or in its app list.
  • Tapping it opens the Prosperna dashboard in its own window.
  • The install card no longer shows at the bottom of the sidebar when you open Prosperna from the icon.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • I don't see the install card: Prosperna only shows the card when your browser offers to install it. The card doesn't show if your browser doesn't support installing web apps, if Prosperna is already installed, or while you're on a Max AI page. Prosperna doesn't give separate install instructions for browsers that don't show the card.
  • I see the card icon but no Install button (tablets): on medium-sized screens the sidebar is narrow and the card shows only the Prosperna logo. Tap it to show Install.
  • "A new version of Prosperna is available." keeps coming back: tap Refresh to finish the update.

Limitations & considerations

  • The installed app is the Prosperna dashboard for store owners and team members. Your customers shop on your online store in their own browser; there is no shopper app to install.
  • The installed app doesn't send push notifications to your phone. New-order pop-ups and the doorbell sound only work while Prosperna is open. See How to Set Up Order Notifications.
  • Your login, plan and team permissions are the same as in the browser.
  • To uninstall, remove the Prosperna icon the way you remove other apps on your phone. Prosperna has no uninstall button. Uninstalling doesn't affect your store or account.
