Frequently Asked Questions
How do I build a page for my store?
In the sidebar, click Max AI and work with the Builder. Describe the page you want and Max builds it, or start from a web address, an HTML file, or a blank page you fill yourself. You see a live preview beside the chat, and nothing goes live until you publish. See How to Build Pages with Max AI.
Does building pages use AI Credits?
When Max builds, clones or imports a page, it uses AI Credits. Building a page by hand with New Blank Page, and editing by hand in the Visual Editor, doesn't use AI Credits. Checking an address with Check page before you clone it is free too: Max opens the page and tells you whether it can be cloned, and what may not carry over, before you spend any credits. See How to Build Pages with Max AI.
Can I edit a page myself without AI?
Yes. In the Visual Editor, click any element to change its text, image, link, colors, spacing or visibility, and drag in new sections and elements. Edits aren't live until you Save Draft or Publish the page. Closing the Visual Editor without saving undoes the edits from that session. See How to Edit a Page in the Visual Editor.
Why aren't my page changes showing on my store?
Drafts aren't visible to your customers. Publish the page to make your changes live. If Publish is greyed out with Nothing to publish, that version is already live. See How to Build Pages with Max AI.
Can I edit my checkout or cart page?
No. Checkout, cart, the Thank you page after paying, and error pages can't be edited. Product Listing, Single Product, Cart, Checkout, the thank-you pages and error pages are always part of your store and have no Publish / Unpublish option. Inquiry Thank You is the one you can change: it always stays published, but you can open it and edit its design like any other page. See How to Manage Your Pages.
Which pages does my store start with?
A new store is created with its pages already made for you: Home, About Us, Contact Us, Return Policy, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, alongside the shop pages (Product Listing, Single Product, Cart, Checkout, thank-you and error) and Inquiry Thank You, the page shoppers land on after sending a contact or inquiry form. Home is your home page and is published straight away, so your store has a front page from day one. Contact Us is published too, and so is Inquiry Thank You; the others start unpublished until you're ready. Each of these pages already has a design from a Max AI template, so none of them opens blank. See How to Manage Your Pages.
Why can't I unpublish my home page?
Your home page is the page shoppers land on, so it stays published until another page takes over. If you try to unpublish it, Choose another homepage first tells you <page name> is your homepage, so shoppers land on it. Choose another homepage in Design Settings, then you can unpublish <page name>. Click Go to Design Settings to open the Home Page tab and pick a different page, then unpublish the old one. See How to Manage Your Pages.
Why can't I rename a page?
Default and system pages can't be renamed, duplicated or moved to the trash. You can rename your own pages, but renaming changes the page's web address, so update any links to the old address. See How to Manage Your Pages.
I deleted a page by mistake. Can I get it back?
If you moved it to the trash, open the Trash tab in Page Builder → All Pages and restore it. Deleting a page permanently needs you to type DELETE. See How to Manage Your Pages.
How do I change my store's menu and footer?
Build and edit them with Max AI in the Menu and Footer editor: let Max create them, then change links and styles yourself. Your menu and footer are shared by every page, so publishing them changes every page at once. Publishing any page also publishes your current menu and footer. See How to Set Up Your Store Menu and Footer.
Can I go back to an older menu or footer?
Yes. A version is kept each time your menu or footer is saved as a draft or published. In Page Builder → Template Library, click ... on your Max menu or footer and choose History to see every version, who wrote it and when, then Restore as draft on the one you want. Restore previous version does the same for the one just before your current version. A restored version comes back as a draft and goes live only when you publish it. See How to Set Up Your Store Menu and Footer.
I changed my menu in Menu Builder, but my store didn't change. Why?
Your store shows your Max AI menu. Edit it in Max instead with Edit in Max Builder. Menu Builder is only for stores created before May 28, 2026. See How to Set Up Your Store Menu and Footer.
How do I change my store's colors and fonts?
Your colors, fonts, text styles, button style and corner shape are in Colors & Styles. Open it from Page Builder → Design Settings, from AI Studio, or from inside the Max AI page builder. These settings apply to your whole store. Reset to Default saves immediately and can't be undone. See How to Customize Your Store's Design.
Can I use my own brand font?
Yes. Activate the free Custom Fonts app, then upload your font files in .TTF, .OTF, .WOFF or .WOFF2 format. You can upload up to 3 fonts, and they then appear under Uploaded Fonts in every Font Family list. Deleting a font affects every page that uses it. See How to Add Custom Fonts.
Why does a page still show my old colors?
If the page was published before the store-wide theme, open it in the page builder and click Publish again. If one element ignores your theme, its color note says Fixed for this element: click a Theme swatch to link it back. See How to Link Element Colors to Your Theme.
How do I change my store name or logo?
In the sidebar, click Page Builder, then Design Settings. Your name is on the Store Information tab and your logo on Store Branding, and each tab has its own Save button. A store must always have a logo: you can replace it, but not remove it. See How to Update Your Store Name and Logo.
Does changing my store name change my store link?
No. Changing the store name doesn't change your store's link. Change the subdomain separately. Store names must be unique across Prosperna and up to 50 characters. See How to Update Your Store Name and Logo.
How do I add a cookie notice to my store?
Open Design Settings and click the Cookie Policy tab. You choose a light or dark style, show it as a banner or a side panel, and link it to your privacy policy. A Policy Link is required. See How to Set Up Your Cookie Policy.
Why can't I see my cookie notice?
The notice only shows to visitors who haven't clicked Accept or Decline yet, and their choice is remembered in their browser. Open your store in a private browser window to see it again. See How to Set Up Your Cookie Policy.
Can I change how products are displayed on my store?
Yes. In Settings → Store, Product Listing sets which layouts customers can use (Grid View, List View and Menu View) and which one they see first. Menu View also needs the Menu View app from Marketplace. See How to Customize Product Listing and Search.
What files can I upload to the Media Library?
Images in JPG, PNG, WebP or ICO format, up to 10 MB each, and documents in PDF, HTML, CSS, CSV, TXT or MD format, up to 25 MB each. For videos, you add YouTube or Vimeo links. You can't upload a video file. See How to Upload and Organize Your Media.
Can I organize my media into folders?
There are no folders or albums. Use clear titles and the search box to find files. See How to Upload and Organize Your Media.
Why can't I upload more files?
Your store has used all of its storage. Delete files you no longer need, or move to a plan with more storage. Images and documents count toward your storage, video links don't, and each edit you save creates a new copy that also uses storage. See How to Upload and Organize Your Media.
What happens when I delete an image?
Deleting is permanent and can't be restored. Deleted images and videos are also removed from any product that uses them. A category, blog post or page that used the image shows a broken image until you choose a new one. See How to Delete Media from Your Library.
Can AI remove the background from my product photos?
Yes. Edit with AI in the Media Library can remove the background, improve quality or lighting, apply a filter, or put the product on a new background. Every result is saved as a new image, so your original stays unchanged. Only the store owner sees Edit with AI, and AI tools use AI Credits. See How to Create Images with AI in the Media Library.
Why can't my team member change the store's design?
Changing colors and styles needs Store settings & administration access. To use it inside the page builder, the team member also needs Page Builder access. Ask the store owner to update their permissions. See How to Customize Your Store's Design.
