How to Set Up Your Store with Max AI

Overview: After the welcome survey, Max, Prosperna's AI assistant, helps you set up your store's branding, brand voice and home page. You choose how: chat with Max, or fill in a quick survey.
Prerequisites:
- You've signed up, verified your email and finished the welcome survey. See How to Sign Up for Prosperna.
- (Optional) Your logo as a .jpg, .png or .webp image under 10 MB. If you don't have one, Max can design one for you.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Choose how you want to set up
On the How would you like to set up your store? screen, pick one:
- Chat with Max: answer quick guided chat questions while Max walks you through it step by step.
- Quick Survey: a short form with every step visible up front. Takes about 2 minutes.
You can switch at any time. In the survey, click Switch to chat. In the chat, look for Prefer a quick survey?
The setup has three stages, shown in the Setup progress bar: Branding, Brand Identity and Your Website.
Step 2: Branding
Answer each question, then click Continue. Use Back to change an earlier answer.
- What's your store called? Enter your Store name.
- Pick your store link. Enter your Store link, the web address of your store. Use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes only.
- Got a slogan? Enter a Store slogan (up to 80 characters), or click Skip.
- What do you sell? Search for and choose your Industry.
- Add your logo. Do one of the following:
- Click Upload a logo and choose your image file.
- Click Generate with Max, pick a Style (Minimal, Playful, Elegant or Bold) and a Main color, and let Max design one.
- On Looking good! Ready to save?, review your answers and click Save & continue.
Step 3: Brand Identity
- If your store could talk, how would it sound? Pick a vibe for your Brand personality, or describe your brand voice in your own words.
- Who are you selling to? Describe your Target audience, for example "Busy parents who want healthy, quick meals for their kids."
- On Perfect. Ready to save your brand identity?, review and click Save & continue. Max uses these answers to shape your pages.
Step 4: Your Website
Choose how to create your home page:
- From scratch: describe your business and Max designs the page for you.
- Clone: rebuild your existing home page from a link.
- Import: turn an HTML file into your home page.
Max then builds your home page using your branding.
Verify It Worked
Success criteria: you see Congratulations! with a What's next? list:
- Choose a Plan: keep your store live when your trial ends (SEE PLANS). Some stores see a 50% discount offer here instead.
- Add Pages: keep building with Max AI's page builder (OPEN PAGE BUILDER).
- Add Products: add your first products (OPEN INVENTORY).
Troubleshooting
Common errors
- "Give your store a name (at least 2 characters).": store names must be 2 to 50 characters.
- "Use lowercase letters, numbers, and dashes only.": remove spaces, capital letters and other symbols from your store link.
- "Pick an industry to continue.": choose an industry from the list before continuing.
- "Use a .jpg, .png, or .webp image." or "That file is over 10 MB — try a smaller one.": save your logo in a supported format, or make the file smaller.
- "Failed to clone the page. Please try again." or "Failed to import the file. Please try again.": check the link or HTML file and try again, or choose From scratch.
Limitations & considerations
- You can change a saved answer from the Setup progress bar. Open the stage, then click Edit next to the item.
- You can click Skip Setup Guide to leave the setup. Unfinished setups are only kept for 24 hours before the session resets.
