Summary
Overview: Prosperna lets you know about new orders, leads, product reviews, Shipping Credits, scheduled reports and add-on subscriptions. Check your latest notifications from the bell icon at the top of the dashboard, or open the Notification Center to see, search and open all of them.
Prerequisites:
- You're logged in to your Prosperna dashboard.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Check the bell
- Look at the bell icon at the top right of the dashboard. A number on it shows how many notifications you haven't read.
- Click the bell. The Notification Center panel opens.
- New: notifications from the last 23 hours.
- Earlier: older notifications, up to 8 weeks old.
- Scroll down to load more.
- Click a notification to open it. It's marked as read. For example, an order notification opens the order, and a lead notification opens the lead's profile.
Step 2: Open the Notification Center page
- Click the bell.
- Click View All at the bottom of the panel. The Notification Center page opens.
Each row shows:
- Notification: what happened, for example New Order or New Lead Registered. Click it to open the order, lead, review or report.
- Name: the customer or lead, when there is one.
- Date: when it happened.
- Location: the store location it belongs to, or NA when it has none.
- Read Status: a dot. Hover over it to see Read or Unread.
The table shows 10 notifications per page. To show more, change the page size (10, 50, 100 or 500). To sort, click the Notification, Name, Date or Location column heading.
Step 3: Find a notification
- On the Notification Center page, type in the Search... box.
- The order notifications narrow to the ones that match. Notifications about contacts, reviews and reports stay in the list.
Step 4: Mark notifications as read
- One notification: click it in the bell panel. On the Notification Center page, clicking a row marks new orders, new inquiries, reviews and Shipping Credits notices as read; other kinds stay Unread until you use Mark all as read.
- All notifications: click Mark all as read on the Notification Center page, or at the top of the bell panel.
Read status is per person. Marking a notification as read doesn't mark it read for your team members.
Step 5: Act on add-on and cart alerts
- Expiring add-on subscription: in the Notification Center, click the notification that starts with Expiring to open the payment page and renew the add-on. From the bell panel, this notification opens the Notification Center page.
- Cancelled add-on subscription: click the Cancelled … Subscription notification. The Cancelled Add-On Subscription window says the add-on has been automatically cancelled due to an unpaid invoice. Click Ok to open the Marketplace and subscribe again.
- Idle carts: a banner at the top of the Notification Center page says, for example, You have 12 idle carts from the past 3+ days. Click Review them and send a reminder to open Abandoned Carts. Click the close button on the banner to dismiss it.
- Cart reminders not sending: a banner says automatic cart reminders are not sending. Click Open Abandoned Carts to fix it.
Verify It Worked
Success criteria:
- After you open a notification, the number on the bell goes down.
- After Mark all as read, the bell shows no number and every row's Read Status shows Read.
Troubleshooting
Common errors
- "No Notifications Yet": you have no notifications yet. Updates about your orders, leads and store activity show up here.
- A team member doesn't see an order notification: team members only see order notifications for the store locations they are assigned to. See How to Set Up Order Notifications.
- "You are already viewing this order": you clicked a notification for the order that's already open.
Limitations & considerations
- The bell panel shows notifications up to 8 weeks old. Open the Notification Center page to see all of them.
- New-order and pending-delivery pop-ups appear only while the dashboard is open in your browser. See How to Set Up Order Notifications.
- Scheduled reports from Max AI also arrive here. Click one to read the full report. See How to Read Your Dashboard.
