How to Sign Up for Prosperna

Overview: Create your Prosperna account in one of two ways: register with your email and a password, or continue with your Google account. Then answer a short welcome survey so Prosperna can set up your store. Every new account starts a free 14-day trial with access to Scale plan features.

Prerequisites:

  • An email address you can open right now, because you'll need to click a link sent to it.
  • Or a Google account, if you'd rather sign up with Google.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Create your account

To open the sign-up page from the Sign In page, click Register Now at the bottom. The sign-up page is titled Create an Account. Then choose one of the two options below.

Option A: Register with your email and a password

  1. Enter your First Name and Last Name.
  2. Enter your Email Address.
  3. Enter a Password. As you type, a checklist below the field turns green for each rule you meet:
    • At least 1 uppercase letter
    • At least 1 lowercase letter
    • At least 1 numeric character
    • At least 1 special character (!@#$%^&*+=)
    • Minimum length of 8 characters
  4. Type the same password again in Confirm Password.
  5. Tick the "I'm not a robot" box.
  6. Click Register, then verify your email (Step 2).

Option B: Continue with Google

  1. Click Continue with Google below the Register button.
  2. Choose your Google account. Google confirms your email, so go straight to Step 3.

Step 2: Verify your email (email and password sign-up only)

  1. After you click Register, you'll see a screen titled Please check your email.
  2. Open your inbox and find the email from Prosperna.
  3. Click the verification link in that email.
  4. A page titled Successfully verified confirms that you can now log in. Click Back to Login.

No email? Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it isn't there, click Resend on the Please check your email screen.

Step 3: Log in and answer the welcome survey

The first time you log in, Prosperna asks a few quick questions so it can personalize your store.

  1. Log in with your email and password, or with Continue with Google.
  2. On the Let's get to know each other screen, click Get Started.
  3. Answer each question, then click Next. Use Back to change an earlier answer.
    1. Where is your business located? Choose United States or Philippines.
    2. How did you hear about us?
    3. Who are you creating a website for? Choose For my business or For my own research or as a student.
    4. Which best describes your current situation? Choose I'm just starting or I'm already selling online or in-person.
    5. What industry are you in? Pick your industry from the list.
    6. What are your top 3 business goals? Pick up to 3. Once 3 are selected, the rest are greyed out until you unselect one.
    7. What size is your business? Choose the range that matches your monthly sales.
  4. After the last question, click Next. Prosperna takes you to the AI setup chat to start building your store.

Verify It Worked

Success criteria:

  • You saw the Successfully verified page after clicking the email link.
  • You can log in with your email and password (or with Google).
  • After the welcome survey, you're taken to the AI setup chat. You won't be asked the survey questions again.

Troubleshooting

Common errors

  • "Passwords must match": the two password fields are different. Re-type both carefully.
  • "First name can only contain letters, spaces, hyphens, and apostrophes" (same for last name): remove any numbers or symbols. Names must also be 2 to 50 characters long.
  • "Please enter a valid email.": check for typos, such as a missing @ or domain.
  • "Your email is NOT verified!" when logging in: you haven't clicked the verification link yet. Click Resend Verification Link on that screen, then open the newest email.
  • The verification email doesn't arrive: check spam or promotions, wait a minute, then click Resend. For your privacy, Prosperna shows the same message whether or not an email was sent: "If that account is awaiting verification, we have sent the message again. Please check your inbox."
  • "Already have an account? Check your inbox for a message about that instead.": if you've already registered this email with a password, you won't get a new verification link. Check your inbox, then log in or reset your password.

Limitations & considerations

  • The welcome survey is required. You can't open the dashboard until you finish it.
  • Your free trial lasts 14 days. To keep using your dashboard after that, choose a paid plan (Launch, Grow or Scale). If you don't, your account is suspended. You can then only open the billing pages (to pick a plan and pay) and your balance and withdrawal pages, until you subscribe.
